Hold to charge, quiet to leap

Hop

0hops

Hold a sound to charge. Go quiet to jump.

How to play Hop

  1. Press Start and allow the microphone.
  2. Hold a sound and the charge ring fills — a full ring is a long leap.
  3. Go quiet and the climber leaps toward the next pillar. Landing in its middle pays two.
  4. Fall into the canyon and the round ends. You have 30 seconds.

Hop measures volume in the page. It does not send audio to a speech service and it does not keep a recording. The pillars and the climber are drawn here.

Questions about Hop

Is Hop free?

Yes. Every game on Voicegames is free, with no account and no download. Open the page and play.

Where does Hop work?

It runs in any modern browser, on desktop and mobile. Space and the mouse also control the game, so it works even if the microphone is blocked.

Is my voice recorded?

No. The volume games measure loudness inside the page and never keep audio. The speaking games use Chrome’s built-in speech service to turn speech into text on your screen; Voicegames never receives or stores the audio.

How do I judge the leap?

The number over the gap is its width, and the ring shows your charge — a full ring flies about four hundred pixels, so let go early for short gaps.

Can I land back where I started?

Yes, safely — it just scores nothing. Only the far pillar pays.
