Louder pulls harder

Tug

0rounds

Your volume pulls the marker to your line.

How to play Tug

  1. Press Start and allow the microphone.
  2. Shout, sing, or hum — the louder you are, the harder your side pulls the rope.
  3. Pull the marker past the green line to win the round. The machine drags it back, and harder every round.
  4. Win as many rounds as you can in 30 seconds.

Tug measures volume in the page. It does not send audio to a speech service and it does not keep a recording. The rope, the flag, and both pullers are drawn here.

Questions about Tug

Is Tug free?

Yes. Every game on Voicegames is free, with no account and no download. Open the page and play.

Where does Tug work?

It runs in any modern browser, on desktop and mobile. Space and the mouse also control the game, so it works even if the microphone is blocked.

Is my voice recorded?

No. The volume games measure loudness inside the page and never keep audio. The speaking games use Chrome’s built-in speech service to turn speech into text on your screen; Voicegames never receives or stores the audio.

How loud do I need to be?

The first rounds fall to a strong speaking voice. By round three you are yelling — that is the design.

What happens if the machine wins a round?

The marker resets to the middle and the machine eases off a touch, so a lost round never snowballs.
