How to play Floors
- Press Start and allow the microphone.
- The climber sinks by himself. Hum a low note and he walks left; whistle or sing a high note and he walks right.
- Steer him through the gaps in each floor. Spiked floors and the rising spike ceiling end the round.
- Arrow keys, or holding the left or right half of the picture, also steer. You have 30 seconds.
Floors listens for pitch in the page. The audio never leaves your device and nothing is recorded. The climber, the shaft, and the spikes are drawn here.
Questions about Floors
Is Floors free?
Yes. Every game on Voicegames is free, with no account and no download. Open the page and play.
Where does Floors work?
It runs in any modern browser, on desktop and mobile. Space and the mouse also control the game, so it works even if the microphone is blocked.
Is my voice recorded?
No. The volume games measure loudness inside the page and never keep audio. The speaking games use Chrome’s built-in speech service to turn speech into text on your screen; Voicegames never receives or stores the audio.
How does the voice steering work?
The page tracks the pitch of your voice: anything low (a hum) walks left, anything high (a whistle or “eee”) walks right. Quiet means he keeps falling straight.
Is Floors the same as the down-100-floors game?
It is our own voice take on the classic descent: same falling climber, same spike ceiling, but the arrow keys are replaced by the pitch of your voice.
