Eat the apples. Don't bite yourself.

How to play Snake

  1. Press Start and allow the microphone.
  2. The snake crawls by itself. A low note turns it left, a high note turns it right — relative to where it is heading.
  3. Eat every apple to score one and grow two cells longer.
  4. Bite a wall or yourself and the round ends. You have 30 seconds.

Snake measures pitch in the page. The audio never leaves your device and nothing is recorded. The snake, the apples, and the garden are drawn here.

Questions about Snake

Is Snake free?

Yes. Every game on Voicegames is free, with no account and no download. Open the page and play.

Where does Snake work?

It runs in any modern browser, on desktop and mobile. Space and the mouse also control the game, so it works even if the microphone is blocked.

Is my voice recorded?

No. The volume games measure loudness inside the page and never keep audio. The speaking games use Chrome’s built-in speech service to turn speech into text on your screen; Voicegames never receives or stores the audio.

Are the turns absolute or relative?

Relative: “left” always means the snake's own left, like a real turn. Two quick low notes make a U-turn.

How long is the snake at the start?

Four cells. Every apple adds two, and the pace picks up as you eat — the last ten seconds get crowded.
