How to play Catch

  1. Press Start and allow the microphone.
  2. Hum a low note to slide the basket left, a high note to slide it right. Arrow keys and holding each half of the picture work too.
  3. Coins score one, blue gems score three, and a caught bomb ends the round.
  4. You have 30 seconds. Beat your best.

Catch measures volume and pitch in the page. The audio never leaves your device and nothing is recorded. The basket, the coins, and the bombs are drawn here.

Where does Catch work?

It runs in any modern browser, on desktop and mobile. Space and the mouse also control the game, so it works even if the microphone is blocked.

Is my voice recorded?

No. The volume games measure loudness inside the page and never keep audio. The speaking games use Chrome’s built-in speech service to turn speech into text on your screen; Voicegames never receives or stores the audio.

What counts as a low or high note?

A hum or “mmm” sits low and slides the basket left; a whistle or an “eee” sits high and slides it right. Held notes steer best — speech jumps around.

What happens if I catch a bomb?

The round ends right away and your score stands. Bombs fall often enough that greedy baskets get caught.
